The Pink Cabbage Co. in Heathfield – A Review

I recently met some business friends at the newly opened Pink Cabbage Co. Previously of Mayfield fame (although I’d never discovered it before, I’ve heard good things), Lucy has brought her lovely food to the cute old Station building in Heathfield.

There were four of us and it was lovely catching up over a delicious breakfast with plenty of coffee!

Left to right: Valerie (Damson Preloved), Margaret (Sussex Support Services and The Little Pancake Place), myself (Bexphoto) and Holly (Brolly & Co.).

The staff were SO friendly and cheerful, it was such a lovely place to hang out and they have the best collection of antique furniture and OMG, I was obsessed with their rainbow display of enamel pieces! (I see a new collection starting in my future, don’t tell hubby!)

I ordered the Eggs Benedict which came with bacon and sourdough toast instead of ham and a muffin (substitutions I approve of) and was so beautifully presented.

The pancakes looked pretty amazing too so I’ll have to go back again! My twins would love it there!

Highly recommended, we had a brilliant morning, followed by a quick trail around the charity shops for three of us who all found some great, eco-friendly bargains!

I was also accidentally dressed a bit like a pink cabbage with my frilly sleeves! 😆
